This page relates to the North East District Sea Cadets Podcast, a monthly Podcast on behalf of the Sea Cadets.

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is a digital media file, or a related collection of such files, which is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and personal computers. The term, like "radio", can refer either to the content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also termed podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster.

What will be on the Podcast? 

• News from each individual unit – therefore 9 news segments.
• Competition results – Including Area and National competitions.
• Upcoming events – Competitions, district courses etc.
• Q & A session – Cadets/Staff can email any SCC related question in (to a dedicated email address) and they get answered on the Podcast.
• General District News
• Welcome segment – welcomes new Staff, Cadets and informs of any transfers.
